About the Webjam

Webjam

An international 24hr non-stop competition where the best specialists of the sector come to Limoges to confront each other. They are selected in terms of organized short-listings in our partner countries and of an online short-listing. The 35 best teams will meet in Limoges on the 3rd and 4th of June 2010 for the final.

The WIF webjam is to create in 24 hours only an innovative, original and dynamic graphic interface on a unique theme revealed at the very beginning of the competition.

"I’m thinking of you": Communicate your presence to a loved one, in the context of mobility. Imagine a palette of manifestations of presence between two lovers during a day.

• Mid October 2009 - mid February 2010 : Physical short listing in our partner countries
• 12th & 13th February 2010 : online short listing
• March 2010: announcement of 35 finalist teams
• 3rd, 4th, and 5th June 2010: final during the WIF in Limoges, France

Pre selections

By team from 1 to 3 competitors, participate in pre-selections organized in your country between October, 2009 and February, 2010. Remain connected on the Web site of the WIF to discover regularly the new organizing territories. For the competitors whose country of origin is not a WIF partner, an on-line pre selection will be organized on February 12th and 13th, 2010.

Final

The 35 best teams of the world will meet in Limoges during the WIF 2010 to confront each other during the final. 24 hours of extreme competition to create a dynamic and original graphic interface on a unique theme revealed in the launch of the webjam.
