WIF 2008 - webdesign international festival - France

The selection has been hard and after more than 12 hours of consideration : finding of the jury. Here is the list of the 40 teams selected for the wif 2008 final in Limoges from April 17th to 19th, 2008.

Our Jury : Who’s who

Igor Nimylowycz : wif manager

Pascal Samama : who used to work for Caractère - has been SVM Mac associate editor for the 5 last years. He is used in testing products and can write on Apple products as well as on accessories from the Mac industry.

Lâm Hua : he is a journalist for numerous print magazines – among them Technikart, GQ, Cosmopolitan. He is highly specialized in writing on video games & new technologies. As a matter of fact, he is most of time asked to test any new launch of that field.

Jérome de Vries : Gifted with a diploma in Industrial Design and a Master degree in Numeric imaging, Jerome spent quite long time abroad. In 2004, he founded Les Anges Urbains, a “design management” studio to accompany his clients in their design initiatives - from creation to management, at short and long-term.

Nicole Pignier : A lecturer at Limoges University, she teaches Multimedia communication strategies. Besides, as a researcher, she belongs to the Semiotic Researches Center of Limoges University ; among others, she has published “Thinking Webdesign”, “Semiotic models in multimedia projects” and is working right now on a new writing dealing with cultural experience in design and graphic interfaces.

Claire Corbel : she is the Limousin Expansion e-Design Excellence Pole manager (a center dedicated to numeric design and that included training, entrepeunership, research and development laboratories). She is gifted with a Master degree in Computing (Rennes I University) and she used to work for a computer service provider in Toulouse in charge of applications for CNES and Airbus.

Mathieu Brogniard : He is Granilink’s CEO. Mathieu - who has worked on WIF since the very beginning of the adventure – is in charge of the event technical coordination. He is specialized in Internet services launch and management. He feels really concerned with conviviality creations that aim at putting all the attention on webbies. To him, means used to make the message be understood are as important as content itself.

Kevin Gallot : wif’s webmaster and online marketing manager. A specialist of the Web since 1996, he has followed any huge trend in the field of web use and new supports.
