Webmaster 10 December 2007
Every fortnight, wif team, in collaboration with the Pole Excellence e-Design, invites you to discover an interview of an interactive designer. This week, Dusan: designer from Serbia.
wif : « Only one sentence to describe yourself… »
Dusan : I make what I like and feel. I do many things. I don’t know many things. I’m going to learn many things. My shits, my responsibility.
wif : « According to you, to what extent do the technological overhangs, particularly the man-machine interface, tactile supports, contribute to the e-design innovations? In other words: what is the place of the design in these overhangs? »
Dusan : Like in everything else – bigger then you think.
wif : « You don’t just suddenly become a webdesigner. Tell me what led you to this world? »
Dusan : I guess I’ve been influenced by my father who is also designer. I grow up with it, now I became it - mostly.
wif : « Taking your experience into account, can try you to imagine and tell me what your job and works will look like in the 5 next years? »
Dusan : My profession will be even more popular then now. About my works - still be mine. I’ll be still mine.
wif : « According to you, what media or what innovation has had the greatest impact lately? »
Dusan : By mine interest, I think that use of music for web-design isn’t yet explored as it should be. When you’re online, what you do is: you see things, you touch things (mouse/keys), you hear things, you speak. I’m working on new project based on music and generally voices.
wif : « On the opposite, what innovation has been the most useless, a complete “revolution disaster”? »
Dusan : Worry about time that’s coming when you’ll be able to feel things on-line. It will come on sight one day for sure. It will change things you taught that will never be changed.
